Your agent works in the catalog you already have. Lightroom renders every pixel and stays the single source of truth. RawLogic adds no second RAW engine and no sidecar tricks.
On a RAW original, the agent can create Lightroom's AI Sky, Subject and Background masks and set sixteen local adjustments on the selected one, such as exposure, highlights and texture. Brushes, gradients and other mask types are still made by hand.
100+ develop settings the agent can read and set directly, from exposure and tone to the B&W mix and lens profile.
The agent lists the develop presets in your Lightroom and applies the one you name. For profiles it can switch between Adobe Color, Adobe Monochrome and Adobe Standard; your own custom profiles can't be set yet.
The agent asks Lightroom for a preview and measures it, whole frame or a region you point at, so its next move is based on the picture.
Capture the settings from a frame you like as a recipe, then have the agent apply it to the next one.
The state of the photo is saved before every write, and the agent can undo its most recent edit. A preset is the exception: you take that back from Lightroom's History panel.
In plain language, in the AI client you already use.
Before anything changes, RawLogic makes sure the edit is safe and aimed at the right photo.
The edit happens in your own catalog, and your agent sees the new picture.
Handing an agent the keys to years of work is a real decision. These are the rules RawLogic is built on.
RawLogic touches only folders you have granted, one by one. Anything else is refused.
The before-state is written down ahead of every edit, and your existing XMP sidecar is backed up before a save.
RawLogic removes only its own temporary files. Clearing an old backup takes a button you press yourself; no agent can do it.
If an edit times out, RawLogic stops and tells you. It never fires the same change again on its own.
With no action from you or your agent, RawLogic makes no network calls. Close the window and it quits.
Your preferences and what RawLogic has learned about how you edit live in the app on your Mac, not inside one AI provider.
AI plans change every few months. The part that knows you should not have to start over each time.
Other editing apps, and the storage and delivery links around a shoot, are places a plug-in alone cannot reach.
The alpha is small and by invitation. Tell us what you shoot and we will be in touch when there is a place.
